    • Different from leading Wing, in which, Man allows upper body to do extra rotation to allow Lady to pass from one side of body to another.

    • In this Cross Hesitation, Man's arms remain on his right side, you want Lady to stay in your right front.

    • Allow feet to turn, delay head.

    • Step should be adequately large in order to keep balance , keep extending left side, then lift left side to turn head to the right at end of 2

  3. Count 3: RF to side in PP having brushed to LF | Pointing Center, moving DC | TH | 3/8 btwn 2-3, body turns less | Sway(S) | up, lower e/o 3

    • Keep shoulders/arms toward Man.

    • Lift the left side of hip to Man, which makes Lady feel like the shoulder line is tilted upward.

    • Extension: shoulder and chest - "rotate up" feel like high jump. Head: do not break the neck.

  4. Count 1: LF fwd and across in PP and CBMP | Pointing Center, moving DC | HT | start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM | start to rise e/o 4

    • This is "Cross Hesitation"

    • Shape to left. stay with Man. Don't peel R shoulder off Man.

  5. Count 2: RF to side | BLOD | T | 1/4 btwn 4-5 | Sway(L) | cont to rise on 5 and 6

    • Monitor Man's position.

    • Do not step big. Turn feet underneath the body.
