Starting as if to do a fwd ocho, Lady with RF fwd
then it feels like Man let Lady lean back, Lady rondes L leg from back to front,
when Lady's LF in front, Man leads Lady to come up and lean forward, off R heel, feeling leaning into Man.
then Man leads Lady to rise up, Lady will draw LF in, into cross and finish.
Go to position 5 of 8-step basic.
Leader does rock step forward with left foot, leading follower to rock back on right foot.
Leader steps back on right foot, follower forward on left foot, turning to left, about 1/8 of turn.
Leader steps side on left foot, follower steps side on right foot. At beginning of step, couple is facing center. Leader lifts follower up to collect at end of step, pivoting left on right foot, then lowering (follower's bent knee) and continuing until center of mass is behind right foot.
Leader and follower are both leaning back away from their common axis, their respective centers of mass are behind their standing foot.
Follower should be forming a vertical line from hips to shoulders to head. Left leg is extended back, but not bearing any weight. Hips and shoulders should be flat, no leaning.
Leader must provide enough support with right hand on follower's back to allow follower to lean into it safely.
Leader steps forward with RF, leader's feet should be on either side of follower's right foot.
To continue turning, leader closes left foot to right foot, and then steps side with right foot, going around common axis.
To exit, when stepping with left foot, instead of closing feet, leader crosses left foot behind right, while lifting follower to collect, then pivoting follower to left, so that follower's next step can be a back step.
Continue with back-side-front steps of giro, leader pivots follower to facing leader while leading follower to collect.
Finish with resolucion.
