Leader

  1. S: LF back | BLOD | TH | start to turn R | -- | CBM | start to rise e/o 1, NFR

  2. Q: RF to side | Face new LOD | T | 1/4 between 1-2 | -- | cont to rise on 2 and 3

  3. Q: LF closes to RF | LOD | T | -- | -- | --

  4. S: RF to side and slightly fwd | DW | T | -- | -- | up

  5. Q: LF diag fwd L side leading | DW | T | -- | -- | up

  6. Q: RF crosses behind LF | DW | T | -- | -- | up

  7. S: LF diag fwd preparing to step OP | DW | TH | -- | -- | up, lower on e/o 7

  8. S: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | DW | H | -- | -- | CBM | --

Follower

  1. S: RF fwd | LOD | HT | start to turn R | -- | CBM | start to rise e/o 1

  2. Q: LF to side | Back new LOD | T | 1/4 between 1-2 | -- | cont to rise on 2 and 3

    • Shaping to L (using head and body weight) on this tipple (QQ) portion.

  3. Q: RF closes to LF | BLOD | T | -- | -- | --

    • There is shaping, but after shaping, make sure the shoulder comes back to neutral flat. Lady should feel the left shoulder/side are quite lifted.

  4. S: LF to side and slightly back | BDW | T | 1/8 between 3-4 | -- | up

    • Though this is listed as a "side, slightly back" step. Lady actually steps to the side, but because of changing direction to BDW, it will become a "slightly back" step. If Lady really steps back, it will gap with the Man.

    • Compress into the knee without lowering the heel. As Lady compresses into knee, the shape is back to neutral position.

    • L toe is in contact with floor throughout the next QQ.

    • Use standing leg to really drive to the next stock step

  5. Q: RF back R side leading | BDW | T | -- | -- | up

    • Side leading

  6. Q: LF crosses in front of RF | BDW | T | -- | -- | up

  7. S: RF diag back | BDW | TH | -- | -- | up, lower e/o 7

  8. S: LF back in CBMP | BDW | T | -- | -- | CBM | --

Notes:

  • The man begins shaping, bending his spine to the right. After the check step, he returns his spine to the left. The degree to which the direction of movement changes determines how much checking is done on the check step. To continue in a line down the floor, there is hardly any check at all.

  • Silver/Gold: Underturned Tipple Chasse: when starting BLOD after 1-3 of Natural Turn, less turn can be made so this ends with man facing new LOD. Then, step 4 will be to the side, flex knees to check the turn. Continue with 2-5 Forward Lock, moving DC of new LOD. Step 5 as Lady must be taken diagonal back when this alignment is used.

    • Rise will be: slight rise on 2 and 3, lower on 4, commence to rise e/o 4, continue to rise on 5 and 6, up on 7, lower e/o 7.

    • footwork: step 4 will be TH, and IE of T of LF

    • Sway: to R with head turned to R (Lady to L) may be used.

    • This can be used along the side of the room turning 3/8 on the Chasse to end DC. Follow with Quick Open Reverse or Fishtail.
