2: LF fwd
3: Transfer weight to RF | 1/8 to L over 2-5
4 & 1: LF to side, slightly back to chasse LRL
2:RF back
Lower left arm to left side at waist level
3: Transfer weight to LF
Increase tone in left arm, release right hand hold
4 & 1: RF to side to chasse RLR end in Fan Position
Slightly extend left arm. Left hand still.
Follower
2: RF back
3: Transfer weight to LF | 1/8 to L over 2-5
4 & 1: LF to side, chasse RLR
For basic Bronze Fan, do side and slightly forward.
2: LF fwd
Don't rush through. Forward walk on diagonal. Forward Check Walk.
There is a lot of energy toward your partner on this "&" before RF steps back.
LF rotates before RF back.
3: RF back and slightly to side | 1/8 to left
(turn happens in last half of previous step)
4 & 1: Back Lock, LRL, end in Fan Position | 1/8 to L
Keep tone in R arm to Man, Man should not feel the arm is "empty". Keep body position (shoulders down).
Finishing Fan: L hip laterally to left, do not rotate to back.
When coming out of Fan, rotate L hip to left, which sends RF out in front - for a connected movement.
Variations:
Man can take 1/4 L over steps 2-5 and 1/8 over 7-10. (Lady: 1/4 L over 2-5, 3/8 over 7-10)
Gold: Man and Lady: Guapacha timing could be used on 6-10.
