The Cha Cha Time Step is a Newcomer Level figure. Time Steps can be danced any time in Closed or Open Position without hold, or having released hold at end of previous figure.

4 & 1: LF to side to chasse LRL
2: RF behind LF (Cuban Cross)
Feet are in 3rd position, Latin Cross position, really wrap twist hip around the core to the right, while maintaining straight body line.
Option 1: L knee bent (not straight leg as in other patterns)
Option 2: L leg straight.
