Leader

  1. Count 1: LF fwd | FDC | HT | start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM | rise e/o 1

    • Use CBM and rise a bit early to lead heel turn.

  2. Count 2: RF to side | almost BLOD | T | slightly less than 3/8 between 1-2 | Sway(L) | Up

    • Get strong rotation through the feet, do not come off RF too early, which will allow Lady to turn. A little hover helps to keep Lady in front of Man.

  3. Count 3: LF to side and slightly fwd | Pointing DW | TH | slightly over 3/8 between 2-3. body turns less | Sway(S) | Up, lower e/o 3

  4. Count 1: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | DW | H | - | Sway(S) | CBM | --

Follower

  1. Count 1: RF back | BDC | TH | start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM | rise slightly e/o 1, NFR

    • Keep your own balance.

    • When starting the figure, feel left hip flexor working, do not think about R leg moving back, think about standing on the L leg to get weight moving into the foot.

    • Do not think about shoulder rotation at all, just think about strong diagonal stretch, stretching the left side,

    • Turn is all going to happen through base area. Lower center/hips are rotating. From sternum area, feel strong leftward, upward sway from sternum up, no rotation through shoulders. If you rotate shoulder, you'll end up on Man's left side.

    • Step straight back, not off to the side. Head: keep head at the same place, rotate body underneath and head ends up on the right and keep it there

  2. Count 2: LF closes to RF (Heel Turn) | LOD | HT | 3/8 between 1-2 | Sway(R) | continue to rise on 2

    • Heel turn, the feeling is the turn is mostly done on RF, has a slight feeling of pushing off LF, then RF step back on 3 to finish.

    • Stay connected with Man.

  3. Count 3: RF to side and slightly back | BDW | TH | 3/8 between 2-3, body turns less | Sway(S) | Up, lower e/o 3

    • Keep moving, don't hover and stop, strong, bigger step (Man is waiting, need more power). Keep head position (which will make it shape to right).

    • Keep head to right, then on 1 of next e.g Natural Spin Turn, rotate body underneath (no sharp head movement, just keep head at same place starting at 1, not later).

  4. Count 1: LF back in CBMP | BDW | T | -- | Sway(S) | CBM | --

    • Next step, Man steps OP.
