Tipsy to Right

Leader

  1. Q: RF to side (small step) | According to preceding figure | T | None, or up to 3/8 to R or L (see note) | Sway(S) | Slight rise on 1 and 2

  2. &: Move LF halfway towards RF | T | Sway(L/S) | Lower e/o 2

  3. Q: RF to side (small step) | IE of T and IE of T of LF | Sway(L/R) | Down, with sharp flexing of knees

    • Compact figure, bright and bubbly. Light on knees, cushioned. knees and legs have compression.

    • Lady is outside of turn, step would be bigger than Tipsy to Left.

    • Head shapes into the turn Not only shape the body, make sure head goes with the body line (head does stay straight up) Stretch diagonal.

    • When shaping to left, right side stretched. Do not rotate the shoulders. Keep right side connection with Man. Follow Man's hips. Articulate head back to Left.

  2. &: Move RF halfway towards LF | T | Sway(R/S) | Lower e/o 2

    • Articulate head to L

  3. Q: LF to side (small step) | IE of T and IE of T of RF | Sway(R/L) | Down, with sharp flexing of knees

    • Finish with Lady's left side quite forward.

Note:

  • When a Tipsy is danced after a forward step on the LF any turn made will be to L. When it is danced after a step back on LF, any turn made will be to R.
