This pattern starts in open position, then closed and then back to open position again. Lady has an inside turn when doing the Whip.
1: LF diagonally back slightly to side
Starting same as Turning Basic.
2: RF forward
there is resistance with with lady.
Catch lady.
3: LF to side | turn 1/4 to R
Close up with lady. expand
&: RF cross in front of LF | turn 1/4 to R
Lady is doing coaster step.
Give it a rubber band effect.
contraction.
4: LF side | continue rotating to R
LF is all the way to the other side of slot,
Man's L arm is up, will lead lady to do inside turn.
5: RF forward, turning R | turning R 1/4
Man's center should be facing Lady.
6: LF side after turning | another 1/4 to R
R hand glide around Lady's back, then release R hand
total is one full turn for the whole pattern.
7&8: triple anchor step
1: RF forward
Starting same as Turning Basic.
Directly forward in slot.
Body feels like winding up to L, "give" extend R arm, do not hold tight, do not lean back too much, but keep tension.
2: LF forward, then 1/2 to R at end of count | 1/2 turn to R
Do not try to face Man, (he is more perpendicular to Lady. Lady faces slot.
By end of 2, finish the full 1/2 turn.
3: RF back | This is a "Coaster Step"
Arm: "give".
Frame is not stiff, fixed. always have this "in and out" breathing feeling.
&: LF close together with RF
4: RF forward
At end of 4, pivot
5: LF forward, the turn | turning 1/2 to L
6: RF back
7&8: triple anchor step
