    • More advanced version: use ball of foot to whole foot on step 1.

    • Soft knee on this step.

  2. Count 2: RF back | DW | T | starts to turn L | - | CBM | rise e/o 2

    • Take center back.

  3. Count 3: LF to side | PDC | TH | 1/4 between 2-3, body turn less | - | up, lower e/o 3

  4. Count 1: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | FDC | HT | - | - | starts to rise e/o 4

    • This is like outside change step.

    • Body stay behind the foot.

    • Allow R side to relax down to create the diagonal.

    • Avoid turn center and shoulder to left.

  5. Count 2: LF fwd | FDC | T | starts to turn L | - | CBM | cont to rise on 5

    • Taking spine to LF.

  6. Count 3: RF to side and slightly back | BDW | TH | 1/4 between 5-6, body turn less | - | up, lower e/o 6

    • Finish the turn on LF (in previous step) before stepping RF diagonally back.

    • This could end in PP.

  7. Count 1: LF back in CBMP | BDW | T | - | - | CBM | --

    • Man steps Outside Partner.

Technique Notes

    • Variation: this step can finish in Promenade position going DW

      • step 3: ending moving down LOD

      • step 4: same, LOD

      • step 5: Man back step, Lady: fwd; CBM

      • step 6: lady: RF forward DW (after collecting/brushing). then collect LF, ending in promenade position.

    • This step is usually used in corners. Not very good to use along LOD to stop movement.

    • When Reverse Turn precedes this step, it's better to commence 3 steps Reverse Turn facing LOD.
