Leader
S: LF fwd | Facing DC | HT | Start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM | Rise e/o 1
&: RF back in Fallaway, R side leading | Backing DW, moving down LOD | T | 1/4 between 1-2 | Sway(S) | Up. Lower e/o 2
Slight flexing of the knees; heel lowers towards floor and may lightly touch
Q: LF back in CBMP and Fallaway | Backing DW, moving down LOD | T | No turn | Sway(S)| Down. Rise e/o 3
Q: RF to side and slightly back | Backing DW | T | - | Sway(S) | Up. Lower e/o 4
Slight flexing of the knees; heel lowers towards floor and may lightly touch
Q: LF back in CBMP | Backing LOD | T | 1/8 between 4-5 | Sway(S) | | Down. Rise e/o 5
QQQS: 4-7 of overturned Basic Weave | T T TH T | Sway(SRRS) | CBM on step 6 and 9
Follower
S: RF back | Backing DC | THT | - | Sway(S) | Rise e/o 1
Lady's head is to left at this time. Keep previous head shape (maybe think about doing more).
THT footwork: There is a bounce/rise action. dancing the last T footwork is to dance body forward to get onto Toe of RF. It creates lightness through the legs.
Release L leg faster.
&: LF back in Fallaway, L side leading | Backing DC, moving down LOD | T | - | Sway(S) | Up. Lower e/o 2
LF bigger step, more like a side step LOD. follow Man's hips. Weight onto L leg. Don't over turn shoulders or turn shoulders early. Shoulder is flat, going into Fallaway.
Stay very left, don't get in front of Man.
It feels like Man stays in the fallaway longer (compared to Fallaway and Slip Pivot).
Default is a reverse weave action, if leader wants to do fallaway, he will block at the hips, which makes lady open immediately and do a Fallaway.
Turn head into PP position. Keep volume/space with Man (think about even more shape).
Use glute hip more forward to Man, shoulder toward Man (helps to create the PP shape), do not open up side.
Q: RF back in CBMP and Fallaway | Backing DC, moving down LOD | T | Start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM | Down. Rise e/o 3
Keep head to right.
Keep body to Man, very stretched. Keep head volume with Man.
Cushion the knees
Q: LF to side and slightly fwd | Pointing to LOD | T | 3/8 between 3-4, body turns less | Sway(S) | Up. Lower e/o 4
Swivel RF, not turning body and then step LF fwd. L side positive. Keep shoulder parallel to Man.
Feels like left shoulder is leading and stretching forward
The energy has to keep very leftward (stretch L side) and not get into Man's space (when head is to R, easy to get into Man's space)
Head options:
can keep head to R all the way till feather finish. Don't rush turning head, smooth movement. stretch to L.
Or at this time, take the time to turn head back to left, articulate the head.
Q: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | Facing LOD | T | Slight body turn | Sway(S) | | Down. Rise e/o 5
Body diagonally stretched.
QQQS: 4-7 overturned Basic Weave | T TH TH T | | Sway(SLLS) | CBM on step 6 and 9
QQ: swing R side, and keep side leading position. Do not finish square and flat to Man.
Changing angle from right to left, spine and head to left
Head turns back to left when RF to side/back closing up with Man.
Release leg at very end to give room to Man to step.
