Leader

  • 2 3 4 1: As Advanced Hip Twist

    • Start from Closed Position.

    • Step 3: Pressed Backward Walk

  • 2: RF to side and slightly back | 1/8 to L

    • At end of previous beat, extend L arm slightly fwd at normal level, retain tone in arms.

    • Because of the continuous turn, knees will not straighten fully. Slight natural hip movement is used.

    • Exact turn amount may vary.

  • 3: LF behind RF (Cuban Cross) | 1/8 to L

    • Pressed Backward Walk

    • Retain tone in arms, return to normal position, slightly to R

  • 4 1: RF to side | 1/8 to L

    • At end of previous beat, extend L arm slightly fwd at normal level, retain tone in arms.

  • 2 3: Repeat step 5 and 6 | Continue to turn 1/8 on each step

    • Step 7: Pressed Backward Walk

    • Step 8: Because of the continuous turn, knees will not straighten fully. Slight natural hip movement is used.

  • 4 1: Repeat step 5

    • Pressed Backward Walk

    • Step 1,3 : turn starts at end of previous beat.

    • Step 3: Pressed Walk. Late lowering of the heel.

    • Keep arm at waist level, quiet, steady.

  • 2: LF fwd | 1/4 to R

    • Lady circles around Man, try to keep shoulder relative parallel to Man and have hips do the work.

    • Turn initiated at hips. Hip turns more than upper body.

  • 3: Close RF to LF | 1/2 to L

    • On ball of RF, Pressed Walk. Late lowering of the heel. Finish R hip, full.

  • 4 1 2 3 4 1: Repeat steps 4 and 5 twice | repeat

    • Step 9: turn starts at end of previous beat. Turn initiated at hips. Hip turns more than upper body.

    • Step 7, 9: Step 3: Pressed Walk. Late lowering of the heel.

Note:

  • This may be danced with R to R hand hold following Alemana from Open Position. Then, change to normal L to R hand hold on step 5 of the following Advanced Hip Twist.

  • Keep hand at waist level.
