Follower

  1. S: RF back | Backing LOD | TH | Start to turn L | Sway(S) | CBM

    • Try to keep body parallel with Man during heel turn.

  2. S: LF closes to RF (Heel Turn) | Facing DW | H | 3/8 between 1-2, Body turns less. | Sway(S)

    • After RF step back on step 1, keep knees bent. do not drag LF in, place LF heel to RF heel, LF pointing LOD (in plie position). R heel swivel a little bit.

    • When Man step back on step 3 CBMP, it will give room for Lady to move RF with heel lead (HT)

    • With the plie position, lady and man will not bump knees.

    • At heel turn: keep body forward, do not shift to right and get into Man's space.

    • Head could turn to right, but it needs to be clear. Turning head to right has the tendency to make lady more in front of Man, which is not good. Start by keeping the head to left.

  3. S: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | Facing DW | HT | Body completes turn | Sway(S) | slight CBM | Start to rise e/o 3, NFR

  4. Q: LF diag fwd | Facing DW | T | Sway(S) | Continue to rise on 4 and 5

    • Keep knees flexed, keep head left during the lock. Keep right side stretched and connected with Man.

  5. Q: RF crosses behind LF | Facing DW | T | Sway(S)

  6. S: LF diagonally fwd, preparing to step OP | Facing DW | TH | Sway(S) | Up. Lower e/o 6

  7. S: RF fwd in CBMP, OP | Facing DW | HT | Start to turn R | Sway(S) | CBM | Rise e/o 7

  8. Q: LF to side | Backing DC | T | 1/4 between 7-8 | Sway(R) | Up

    • During Running Finish, keep upward swing. Right side positive, don't rotate right shoulder off Man.

    • Head shape to R

  9. Q: RF back, R side leading | Backing LOD | TH | 1/8 between 8-9 | Sway(R) | Lower e/o 9

  10. S: LF back in CBMP | Backing LOD | T | Sway(S) | CBM

    • Often, this is the start of Natural Turn. Big step.
